Group Visits and Conferencing

The museum is suited for group visits, including business and club meetings and conferences.

Conferencing and Meeting Room

The Argosy Centre located next to the main museum hangar is a spacious and airy building designed for holding club & society meetings, conferences, product launches, seminars, business meetings, AGMs, talks, presentations etc. Up to 80 people can be comfortably accommodated within.

A projector, screen and flip charts are all available for you to use. Catering facilities are also available.

Educational Visits

The museum is ideally suited to educational visits by school parties or other organised groups (for example Scouts and Guides); our Education Centre, guided tours and worksheet packs are available by prior arrangement. These have been tailored to the requirements of the National Curriculum.

We also have an outreach programme where we visit schools, putting on presentations and bringing along relevant exhibits.

Commercial Filming

We can provide a venue for commercial filming and photography with access available to most exhibits.

Talks

We can provide speakers for informative and entertaining talks about a variety of subjects relating to local aviation history, aviation preservation, the challenges of running a museum, etc.
